My leo Elijah is now 21 months old and has been a joy to live with...watching him mature through his phases to become an intelligent guardian and playmate has created a very strong bond between us. He is a hit anywhere we go and never seems to tire of new situations and people...He quickly adapted to horses and pack stock and we love riding into the hills and setting up camp. His athleticism is incredible for a giant breed...I would highly recommend Gen and Hans for their supurb lines support and eternal devotion with these dogs!! |

I picked up our little Leonberger Kemo on April 14 2005. He was everything Genevieve had promised he would be. He is always looking for approval too. It has not even been a week and he is practically house trained and sleeping through the night. My boyfriend and I had told Genevieve what we were looking for….A laid back yet social dog that is also outgoing independent. And that is exactly what we got. He seems to be the perfect combination for the therapy work we are planning for him. He is affectionate and always trying to please. He doesn’t even beg!! He sleeps at our feet while we eat or plays with his toys. And everyone who sees him comments on his eyes which are like looking into an angel’s eyes. They take you in and you cannot help but see the soul. |

Well Harrison (20 month old) was entered into another dog show this weekend. As usual he took best of breed and was remarkebly well behaved in the crowd. The kids seem to be attracted to him like he was a magnet. I think it is the fact that he can look them in the eye that does it. We just wish that there were more Leo's entered into these various show. Looking forward to acquiring yet another Leo sometime in April. |

My husband and I adopted our Leo from Gen and Hans in 2000. Since we adopted him we have moved 4 times through three different states and have had two children. Our Morgan has taken it all in stride we've started to refer to him as "our Eeoyre" thanks to his mild temperment. We plan to adopt another of Gen and Hans' Leos in the future. We can't imagine ever owning another breed. |
